Out of PICU!

February 19, 2011

(From Josh)  Hi all.  We have good news to report – Mason was moved out of the PICU at around 5:00pm today … praise the Lord! He is real stable, real swollen (as expected) and resting soundly in the hospital “bed/crib thing” right next to me.  It was quite the roller coaster ride in the PICU for him, and for Holly and I.  We’ll put out further details tomorrow after some much needed sleep tonight … Holly has the 9-2am “shift” and I have the 2am-7am “shift”.  Many thanks for all of your prayers and support.  Mason is so lucky to have so many people that love him from across the country!

Such wonderful news. Do you have any new specific prayer requests we can work on? I know God will continue to bless you all and give you sufficient strength to deal with whatever challenges lay ahead in Mason’s recovery. Thank God for such wonderful news!!!

We are so proud of you guys. It is amazing to look back and see how God has called you to trust in Him in the past in preparation for this event. We are so sorry you had to experience it, but know you will use it for the Kingdom and God’s good. Mason is going to be a mighty man of GOD someday!!!! We love you all so much! Jon and Michele

The road you have just traveled down and continue to journey upon is definetely not an easy one but you all have made it through the most difficult days. Praise the Lord for His healing power for Mason, the endurance for you both as parents and His continued watchful presence over all of you. We will be praying for continued recovery, great nurses, optimal care and a good post-op/post hospital report that will lead you back home to Bozeman. Thank you for your reports and so grateful for all God has done! Love, The Sayre Family
